we're in manas

well, we've started our jounrey home. right now we're in manas, kyrkistan. we stopped here on the way to afghanistan too. it's very cold! when we landed last night it was -20 and of course dumb me left my cold weather gear in my bag...which was palletized and unreachable. i guess its a good thing that i'm such a hot head. and you all thought that would never come in handy. well, what do you think now! but seriously. we'll be here until tuesday night. i looked up the husband of one of tara's old high school friends who we thought was stationed here but unfortunitly he was sent to turkey insted of manas. anyway. when i heard this i almost laughed because he's at the same base tara and i were stationed at almost five years ago. small world. oh well. i'll try and do a few more updates along the way home. because i know you are all dieing for more information.
